There are two ways to do this.

At the time of making an At Market Order or a Limit Order

  1. Follow the instructions in How to make an At Market Order Trade or How to make a Limit Order
  2. before you Select the Invest button, and having selected the yellow Advanced triangle, scroll down and select the Stop Loss and/or Take Profit box(es).
  3. You can then manually input the price(s), in the price box, at which you want a Stop Loss or Take Profit. When you do this the system will automatically show the number of pips away from the current market price. You will also be able to see, in the value box, the loss which will be crystalized if the Stop Loss is triggered and the profit if the Take Profit is triggered.
  4. alternatively, you can manually input the number of pips, in the pips box, to place the Stop Loss or Take Profit. When you do this the system will automatically show the price level at which the Stop Loss or Take Profit has been placed. You will also be able to see, in the value box, the loss which will be crystalized if the Stop Loss is triggered and the profit if the Take Profit is triggered.

By amending an Open Position

You will find any open positions you have in your trade ledger.

  1. Select the column for Stop Loss or Take Profit for the order you are interested in.
  2. You can then manually input the price(s), in the price box, at which you want a Stop Loss or Take Profit. When you do this the system will automatically show the number of pips away from the current market price. You will also be able to see, in the value box, the loss which will be crystalized if the Stop Loss is triggered and the profit if the Take Profit is triggered.
  3. alternatively, you can manually input the number of pips, in the pips box, to place the Stop Loss or Take Profit. When you do this the system will automatically show the price level at which the Stop Loss or Take Profit has been placed. You will also be able to see, in the value box, the loss which will be crystalized if the Stop Loss is triggered and the profit if the Take Profit is triggered.
